Montana's Ranch for Kids just only lost their licensing in 2019. The harm that ranch has done to countless children can never be undone. I was warned already by some US adult adoptees about some of these agencies, but there's so many. The fact that domestic and international adoptees are still fighting for access to birth certificates/information in 2022 really shows how this book has not aged since 2013.

Adopted international children really be treated like exotic pets for these families. I know this author is biased, but all these Christian adoption agencies make me think of cults.

The audiobook is so funny! I love the narrators and knowing the author has played Fire Emblem makes this book even better.
