The author’s imagining of the Biblical account of Abram and Sarai was well-imagined however if I had to read one more time how beautiful Sarai was, I might throw the book across the room.

Love this book..First of all, love the story but what makes this book is all the annotations filling in local color, providing historical context and more. But got stuck when I got in about 190 pages and found the next page was 223! Now I have a replacement so I can continue.

Already about 3 chapters in! Hard to put down. Gives context for the passion for politics unleashed and growing since November 2016.

The setting is an Ozark mill and I think it's just one county over from me. I have a painting of it in my house! The name is disguised but I recognized it anyway. How funny. Patty, you'll have to read this one!
