I'm catching Ninth House vibes.

Oh my god, somebody give this girl a fucking phD because she just got special-er. Of all the special fucking snowflakes that have ever snowflaked, she has to be the fucking special-est. Jeez.

I haven't touched a book in 10 months! I stopped reading a month before my second daughter was born. Life is a constant cycle of diapers, putting kids to sleep, nursing, running after an infant and a toddler, worrying about them and trying to appear sane (note: I said 'appear'). Whatever time I have left is spent doom-scrolling. Oh my books, how I miss you!

Here's a little something I want people who've "befriended" me to know:
I used to be super-active and interactive here but then I discovered Instagram and a bunch of new things that keep me busy now.
What I'm trying to say is, I may not like your updates/reviews, but I see them as I skim through my feed as fast as I can. I'm not actively trying to be horrible. You may not "see" me very much, but I'm here.

I was wondering why my book count was so low even though I have been reading a healthy number of them every month. Turns out the stupid challenge didn't count 15 of my books, idk why. My challenge was completel like, 3 months ago, thank you kindly.

It's reminding me why I read YA in the first place. Horror and Adult are two genres that do NOT work for me. I mean, YIKES.

I salute the people who have hundreds of friends and still manage to be engaging and interactive. And here I am with only 200 friends, yet I find it darn IMPOSSIBLE to comment on all of their reviews and updates. I barely read all their reviews as it is. HOW DO YOU EVEN DO IT?
