Is this worth continuing to read? The first book had me very interested from the start. Enjoyed the world building, magic system, and is just in general fun to read. The second book I'm on chapter 7, and I'm not hooked. The mmc is just enamored with the MC and that's cool but it's his only personality trait. It's more smut than plot and adventure... and the mc still calls the mmc 99 when they fuck.

Chapter seven and we are fucking again... She calls him 99 while they are fucking.. And he is just enamored with zero personality aside from being in love with the main character. At least that's all it seems like in book two. I thought the first book was fun, I was very interested in the world building, but book two is not holding my interest. Someone tell me if it is worth continuing.
