Eyeroll for the roommate description. Also, an ancient alchemist text, witches, oxford…secret society hmmm now where have I read that exact same synopsis before? Discovery of Witches. Come on Rollins, I hope this isn’t straight copy and paste.

Ahhh NOW I remember

I legit do NOT remember this book at all. I’ve got the next book on my TBR and thought I’d better catch up in order to read it.

To be young is to be convinced of one’s immortality. There is nothing more certain to a young person than the statement “that won’t happen to me”. What’s frustrating is that Celeste should not have lied to her parents, attended the party or gone downtown. That said, she should be safe to walk around without the threat of violence.

I seriously do not remember buying this book. The synopsis is not something I would usually go for…maybe this was a thrift find?

If Atredes dies I will be so upset 😭
