There is something very intriguing about how this story is written. It is almost unimposing, but very fragrant at the same time. The subtle descriptions of surroundings and how Stoner sort of had this epiphany during the Shakespeare poem moment. His sort of enlightenment that he no longer wanted to be a farmer, but explore the world he had been sheltered from... beautiful prose.

I'm not crying. You're crying.

There is a lot to say about this book. It reminds me so much of my own experiences with my dad and my great grandma. I am going to finish this tomorrow in honor of tomorrow being Tuesday, and Morrie and Mitch being Tuesday people.

Just wow. I always knew this book would hit me hard, but I finally took the leap.
