GOOD HISTORICAL INFORMATION, BAD PHILOSOPHY.

PARTS I and II, a fairly good introduction to the history of neoliberalism, the rise of the new right (nationalist, filled with racism, xenophobia, homophobia, misoginy).

BUT Mason cant see his humanism as white and imperialist. He blames it all on the postmodernists. And he’s too nostalgically attached to state capitalism, the precursor of today and not our savior.

“Withjn 24/7 capitalism, a sociality outside of individual self-interest becomes inexorably depleted, and the interhuman basis of public space is made irrelevant to one’s fanrasmatic digital insularity”
