Rafe this and rafe that. The author says she likes a slow burn, but it’s more work for them to hate each other at this point

Workplace advances are harassment unless the other person is hot apparently, then that’s just steamy tension 😅

Also, the microagressions when describing her time with Missy didn’t go past me. They moms ideas of Black people and rap like this wasn’t the Lauryn hill and others who were also spiritual. Also they speak about being in Black spaces with little commentary on that privilege.

Not to be rude, but this book makes me think why now? From what I’m reading, I’m still not sure why this book is published now. I don’t think it’s a pivotal time in their life that they need to capitalize off momentum, and I don’t think that they’ve done the needed internal reflection.
