So far, I am a bit disappointed. First, I think it's not really believable that all these serial killers would act in the same timeframe. Galen said in the previous book that the reaper job is basically like a vacation because of the low death rate, and then within a few weeks we're talking about approximately 10 deaths (I'll need to calculate it). I wish we could see Hadley's evolution through deliberate actions...

The alpha male with scars from childhood is getting old, but I really appreciate the twist that makes him empower his woman by training her as opposed to controlling her, as we see so often in similar books. I also like that Mike has a different type of troubled childhood. It spices things up a little.
