Returning to the library sadly

This book is really cute and I love it but I have to return it to the library since there are holds on it. I will definitely be putting a new hold on it so finish it since it is a really good story so far.

So I started reading this on my lunch break at work- big mistake, I didn’t want to put it down. I’m captivated and just want to keep reading.

Returning to the library for a person that has it on hold. It’s pretty interesting though right now

So many of these have made me actually laugh out loud. Hilarious!

I really like this so far, I did a zoom meeting with the author through the library a while back. Super interesting but I need to return it to the library for now.

Received an arc of this for one of my book groups, so far I’m on chapter 3 and I fell a sleep late last night reading it.

I’m really loving this story. And I absolutely just loved the line I read: “But then if I don’t stay vigilant, my husband uses our money to grow a new wife, and my lab assistant uses my grant money to support his side hustle, and I wonder why I bother trying.” And the next paragraph. Loving it!

This book has a jumble of characters that I feel compelled to keep reading. The back of the book I rarely read says they’re all related but I’m waiting for the ties. I really like it even though I’m not sure I completely get it right now...

God I love these characters, I want to have this much sass.

The trick is to let the happy outweigh the sad.

The downside of getting a paperback arc copy? I can't highlight anything like my kindle! So many lines, so many things that have my heart melting. And Mase? He's like every dream you could imagine. I'm swooning, even as Reese is getting her heart broken.

At this point I'm almost 2/3 done and I'm kinda panicking because I'm loving the characters and the story line a little *too* much.
