I’m really enjoying it! LH wrote the best romantic suspense ever back in the day and this one recalls her glory days. Great heroine, great team of guys, great narrator, and great grumpy alpha hero.

I’m seeing more and more “has read” without a star rating in my timeline. Honestly, I couldn’t care less that anyone “has read” any given book if they don’t bother to rate it. Any way to delete those notifications? They’re taking over my timeline which I’m hardly bothering to read anymore because it’s boring me to death.

Chapter 8 and Coert is still being nasty. Narrator makes no distinction between character voices and Ashley doesn’t always use dialogue tags. I’m not enjoying this. DNF

I'm putting it aside to try again later. Luc and Abby are so awkward with each other that I'm uncomfortable. Loved the first two in the series but I haven't sparked with this one. The narrator should not have attempted to give Luc a French accent. It's awful and adding to my discomfort.

I'm reluctant to continue. Underage heroine is alternately childlike and wise beyond her years. Husband's girlfriend is so far being played for a fool and I don't care for that at all. I think I'm done but may come back and try again.
