Last chapter Emily said that ceremony is tonight. Next chapter is starting with Violet in some basement two days later. No explanation how she got there. This is starting to get on my nerves.

Funny how Kane approaches the supposed main character and only after the name we get to see what are his characteristics and that actually he is no acquaintance to begin with… for me it feels upside down approach
