Ok I have just finished The Hydrogen Sonata and here is my ranking:
1. Excession
2. Look to Windward
3. The Player of Games
4. The Hydrogen Sonata
5. The State of the Art
6. Matter
7. Surface Detail
8. Consider Phlebas
9. Inversions
10. Use of Weapons

I liked this one better than Whalefall. Feels like 1917 plus Between Two Fires. Language I think more interesting as well, some turns of phrase that will stick with me. Still some silly typographical nonsense that I think does it no favors.
