I'm re-reading this one and only on chapter 2 and I'm re-membering why I loved this so much the first time. I'm a complete sucker for snarky dialogue between MCs where they give as good as they get. Jason..... he might be one of my all-time favorite Hs ever. And Tessa she's not afraid of the big bad SEAL.

Did not like that at all........:-(

LK is one of my favorite historical romance authors. Her Devil in Winter is one of my all time favorites. I love Evie and Sebastian. And to realize this is their daughter’s story with glimpses of The Devil himself?!?!? Count me in. Today might not be a productive day.

I DNF'd a book recently I wish I could remember. It was a MC story with a single dad and a schoolteacher h. Instalust/love, alpha H, etc. The standard fare. He says she's his, she asks him if he'll be faithful and his response is basically he's in a MC and business is business. Later he's clearly not faithful and explains it away as business. I felt like I'd wasted hours of my life that I'll never get back.

I listened to the free audible on this and it completely bothered me. I was NOT a fan of the narrators so any feelings I have about this book so far are completely colored by my dislike of the audible version. I stopped the audible and have to re-start from scratch to give an honest opinion. I'm going to step away from this on for a bit.

I have to rant a little bit before I forget. Eric, the dead husband, is a POS. "I loved you but she completed me". What a bunch of crap. Then on top of it his POS parents and family think it's her fault he had a second wife (while still married to her) because she wasn't enough for him. They conveniently forget he told his second wife he was an orphan. Guess he wasn't so freakin' perfect after all. Ass.

A second chance story without the overdrawn angst, bitterness, or anger. I'm loving it so far. And at 80% something is literally in my eye because why else are my eyes watering?

I'm finished but need a minute or two to write a review.

Reading the ARC and so far a really good read. My heart breaks for Lennon..

This writing is why I love this author so much.

After his whole body visibly relaxed and I was certain that he was asleep, I looked in the direction of God and whispered, "Can I keep him? Pretty please?"

Oh...... Flint from "Look the Part" is in this one. I love Flint. And so far I love this story. Lake is a true super-heroine. And Cade "I I won't forget you when I'm dead" isn't too shabby either.

This writer - how did I go this long without reading her?!? - is slowly killing me.

h: Never regret loving someone. Do it for you, not for them....If you want to do something for the person you love...open your heart to let them love you back.

This book... This H... This h.... I love it all so far.

h: I think you're incredibly sassy.
H: You think I'm sex in a suit.

h: You're stubborn and infuriating.
H: And you're the first breath of oxygen that's touched my lungs in ten years"

And he brings her flowers from his own greenhouse (!!!!).

But he's definitely NOT a perfect H and we know that from the beginning without the details.

This is a YA story but even if you don't like YA don't let that keep you from reading this. So far this is 5*****.

Read #1 in the series and it was ok. Didn't realize this was part of a series until I started reading. Anyway..... loving the two MCs, Luke and Anna. The dialogue is snappy, a few LOL moments, and they're perfect together.

"Your kissing needs some work. I thought about it and I've realized what was wrong."

"Thanks for the input."

I was going to be productive and had a list of things to do..... then Scandalous came out early!!!!!!!!! This whole series is so over the top, out of control but so damn good. Cannot wait.

I almost missed that this was out!!! I'm not usually the post apocalyptic storyline but I enjoy RZ's writing and can't wait to see how the group makes it in the post-Scorpius world.

So far a fan of Grayson but not quite sure about Charlotte. She's not the warmest heroine ever and I'm wondering why he's do determined.

Not even a quarter of a way into this but I'm hooked. Not usually a rocker storyline fan but I heart Scarlett Cole and loved Preload #1.

There are so many damaged people in this story and my heart breaks for all of them. Young Elliott and current day Elliott, Daniel and his mother, so much ugliness and pain but.....I know there has to be a HEA.

This guy.... what he did to Ana's boyfriend Chris blew my mind. So at what point does he start redeeming himself?

Bastian is such a piece of work (and not in a good way). Yet I keep reading because this is romance and there has to be something redeeming about him, right? And I'm hooked on his 110% a##hole personality.

So far this guy, Bastian, is a straight up a-hole. There's not much redeeming about him TBH, yet I find myself hooked. He kinda reminds me of Vicious in Sinners of Saint #1 - an unlovable H that you can't help reading about.

For the love of a box of Kleenex............this book and Alexander's pain.
