Haunting. The 5-year old narrator gets a little hard to follow but I like figuring out what his interpretation of "adult" things are, Like when he "wants some" and you come to realize that he is referring to breastfeeding, which in and of itself is strange to think of a woman nursing a 5-year-old, but then again, how many people find themselves in their situation.

Donoghue grips the reader and doesn't let up.

Starts off with a bang, plot gets a little dicey and hard to follow in the middle.

Pace slows considerably after the first 180 pages. Now it's a bit of a chore to read. And I still have 350 pages to go...too much book. Could be condensed.

Great prose, tons of wit, but not my type of book. It is very erotic, perhaps to the point of pornographic. Not that I'm a prude, it's just not my genre. I like mystery/thriller/suspense stuff. But don't get me wrong, Thurlow is a tremendously talented writer and those who enjoy erotica must read Katie In Love.

It's a lot of book...The beginning was great but it's a bit of a grind at this point. Looking for the action to pick back up. Suburb writing but losing steam.

This one is very hard to put down. Pace is breakneck. Holms keeps the tension tight. Very well written and exciting. The book showcases a number of characters without becoming confusing. Each character is distinct enough to stand on their own. Can't wait to see how this ends.

Great read. Holms keeps the pace moving. Tight plot, skillful weaving of past and present. Easy, readable style. Plot-driven story. Excellent book. Very entertaining and hard to put down.

I loved Ghostman. Thought it was so original. Jack was a fascinating character. Hobbs certainly had a fresh style that was so full of action and information (very well researched books). The first chapter of Ghostman is enough to lock you down for three days straight while you finish the book. Vanishing Games has taken a little longer to get through. Good book but not as thrilling as Ghostman

Lost interest.

There is a reason why Nora Roberts is as successful as she is. She knows how to tell a great story.

This is my first Nora Roberts book as I always thought of her as a women's author. I was wrong. She is excellent for any reader. No wonder she is as successful as she is. Few prolific, consistently bestselling authors are this good 200 books in.
