I think this book is giving me anxiety

I am loving rereading those and listening to the dramatized audiobooks

I hate Gretchen!

I don't really like Mal....

This is picking up but I have to be honest... What's with all the exclamation points. No joke I counted seven on one page. There has to be an average of 2 per page and it's getting exhausting.

I'm rereading these by listening to the graphic audios for the first time. Absolutely fantastic. Love the full cast also so nice getting back into these books when I don't remember all the little details.

How can so much happen yet so little of it feels like it matters? I'm not going to lie this is so hard to get into . I don't care about the character and the plot is just meh at this point. Hopefully the next 400 pages can save this book

Omg. I don't think I can handle this whole You can't have friends cuz I'm your best friend and I don't want to be a third wheel but you have to be a third wheel to me and the person I cheated on you with. I don't like Flo as a character at all.

God this is a struggle to read. I need to stop listening to the hype ....

Why are things different on the Audible narration vs the ebook??

I hate FMC who are supposed to be smart and impressive but just do the wrong thing every two seconds.

This feels a tad like YA even though the characters are college age. I do love a good fake dating trope.

The "my WIFE!" The reluctant alliances. I am hooked.

I don't understand why the other three characters are so mean to Letty. Like I get it she's a white woman, she hasn't struggled like the rest of them... It's so annoying. Also the way the author talks about Letty is so sexist, it pisses me off.

This is probably really good, but I just get bored with all the footnotes, and English lessons. There is a balance between telling me why a magic system works and a ten page lecture on what words are similar and which are not.

I feel like I'm getting an English lesson not reading a fantasy book....

It's never good when there are left then 50 pages left and I just don't feel like picking it back up...

I just want the story. Like spice is cool and all but you are AT WAR!

Ok so the most frustrating thing about this series is you will be in the middle of some dangerous and life threatening scenes and then the characters will just be like "oh wait I'm horny". I could ignore it at first but now it's getting frustrating. "Oh my friends are in danger and I'm on my way to save them, wait I have a boner"

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind smut I books, but it's all about timing and balance.

This book is either to slow or toi fast. There is no happy medium. I like the story (and most of the characters) a lot. It just has some pacing issues in my opinion.
