I’m on chap 2 and I can already tell that this is a book that I will have to read very slowly, but a book that I will (eventually) finish. His work with veterans, which ultimately led to his later work and this book, left me feeling like I had been punched in the chest. Just to know that there hasn’t been adequate help for very long is very hard to read.
