Really enjoying this book so far, interested to see where the plot will go from here.

I started the audiobook a few weeks ago, hoping for a fun, engrossing, easy read. I was banking on the positive recommendations of other readers... but it hasn’t hooked me yet.

My second go round with this book -and this time- I have the privilege of listening to the Audiobook! 🎊👏👏👏🎊
I’ve been dying to hear this one since I caught the Audiobook bug a few years back.
Dude... these stories are even better than I remember! The wait was worth it.
I didn’t grasp the full depth the first time around.

Ok, glad I stuck with it. I like Camilla and dramatic Francis. And I have started to care about the others against my will

Don’t know if I can stick this one out. These characters are insufferable! The comment one made about not vacationing in Jamaica bc there is ‘no culture’ there!!?!! Which makes no sense! Jamaica has a rich cultural history and its religion, style, and music have influenced pop culture all over the world.
That old dead white guy, high art Schlick is just so myopic, and old fashioned in the worst way.

Dang! I wish I had finished this audiobook!
Super informative, so informative, that I will let slide her over-reliance on trendy terms like “the feels” and “you do you!” Lol.
I have taken college classes on human sexuality and read quite a bit on the subject, so I was not expecting to get much out of it. But I did. I had a handful of aha! moments that I bookmarked.

I abandoned this book. I will try it again as an audiobook, bc it just wasn’t flowing for me.

I’m giving up on this one. The basic concept is solid - deciding what is important and what you don’t give a “fudge “ about. I think that I can get the benefits of this concept without reading the rest of the book.
The excessive cursing doesn’t bother me, but the f-bombs here sound contrived and gimmicky. So far, the ideas laid out in the book feel half baked... in a slap-shod way, not a giggly stoner way.

I am really digging listened to “Pieces of Her” on audiobook! I was disappointed by “The Good Daughter” so my expectations were low. I left a disc in the car stereo and my boyfriend started listening to it; now he is hooked too. Which is really exciting! I have been trying to get him to listen to audiobooks with me for months, this is the first audiobook that has drawn him in

Often, my book choice comes down, not to “what’s on the top of my to-be read shelf” but “what’s the best choice out of the available books on Libby?”
This book is the latter.

I’m digging the detailed, interesting characters, and mixture of natural sounding dialogue and unpretentious lyricism. I love how love spells and herbal remedies for periods are spliced into the first chapter. Hoping to encounter more of this creative literary device.
I want to give it five stars right now for its implicit feminism and herbal authenticity. Oh, and the phrase “magical menstruating moments!”

Just started this audiobook... it is starting off a lot like an American version of Girl on the Train. Hopefully it will pick up soon because Girl on a Train was meh IMO.
