Not entirely a fan of the million different POVs, but I’m really enjoying the lesbianism and Indian inspired fantasy world. It’s so refreshing to read a story without a European frame.

This book is good so far! Straight into the action and survival content.

Kyoshi love her some Rangi and I love that for them.

I don’t like this book. The dialogue is so cringey. Like Riverdale levels of cringe. I can’t ignore it. None of the characters talk like regular people. They all have to give witty quips with at least 1 “fuck” per sentence. THE ONLY PERSON WHO SPEAKS NORMALLY IS THE BRITISH GUY. Do you know how wild that is? I only kept reading for the smut and when I got there it was basically fade to black 😂

I started reading this today. So far I find the MC and his friends to be jerks and haters. They’re constantly talking shit about Henry for being boring and proper. So he’s a chill guy; Is that a crime? And the MC is just embarrassingly rude to him for no reason. Dude literally did nothing to him. I will continue reading because I am a Henry supporter and I want to see him triumph over the annoying MC.

Mmmmm it’s looking like I won’t finish this one. It’s too saccharine. Too much fluff, not enough plot or conflict. Just back to back sex, which I wouldn’t mind that much if I cared about the characters. But I don’t.
