Only made it through the first chapter. The introduction is just rambling plant-anthropomorphising that comes from a good place, I'm sure, but is the kind of thing that probably gave people the idea that nature can somehow "just adapt" to whatever we do with the planet. The best thing I can say about the first chapter is that it had very little to do with the introduction. Will leave it at that for now.

Bis hierhin wirklich interessant und vor allem sehr stimmungsvoll auf engem Raum, kam aber in den letzten Wochen nicht viel dazu und das Buch erfordert etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit. Deshalb keine Reiselektüre; ich mache erstmal kurz Pause. Aber bisher sehr zu empfehlen.
