I do think he doesn’t know them well enough to help them out in anything grand way yet. They are dealing with some heavy stuff.

Her shoving down her grief helps no one. She’s trying to hold it down for the kids, but the longer she ignores her feelings the more overwhelmed she’s going to become. And they need to see from her that it’s okay to be sad.

Her 4 yr old sister has very advanced speech.

O, these aren’t her children!? Noted, the 4 kids she cares for are her siblings - that’s why the pranking and whatnot, she’s not their mom.

So her brother is wonderful.

I really enjoyed this! The pacing, the storyline, the characters, the development especially within familial relationships. There was no spice which I appreciate, but the heat was a little too high. But overall, great book!

Its sucks that she got hurt. But good that she’s had to go to the hospital and the doctor noticed that something was wrong with her hormones. He period should not be causing crippling pain that makes her pass out. Something is wrong.

He needs to have an actual conversation with his coach, because through his anger of being benched, hockey is important to him and has been in his life much longer than Maddie. But I’m glad he’s admitted to himself that he’s in love with her. Swoon.

At your big college age, you’re still bullying girls for their weight and for a man liking them. What’s going on!?!

I’m glad she stood up to them and finally spoke up for herself, but if Aran was there the whole time, he should’ve stepped in before she admitted (accidentally) to being in love with him. Now everything’s a mess.

He pays attention, he shows up. All that gruff, machonesss, but a swearheart underneath.

Nobody says these things to someone they are just friends with, I’m going too be honest with you. Doesn’t happen.
They are both aware of their own feelings and oblivious to each other’s. Smh.

It’s quite fast paced, which I love.

So many tropes!! Grumpy/Sunshine (she smells like strawberries for goodness sake). Jock/Nerd. Opposites Attract (she is literally so different from him, but also the polar opposite of his usual ‘type’. And now Neigbours.
I really like this book so far.

I like him! Doesn’t condone the crap from her roommates and knows how to put people in their place. And he has a soft spot for ‘Strawberry’

Her roommates are fat shaming her, crazy!! No wonder she want to leave.

He already has a nickname for her. That’s cute.

I understand the no spice, but heat comment now. The heat is all in her mind, she needs to control her thoughts, my goodness!! No man is ever that good looking that you can’t feel it in a smidgen.

This football scene is so much better in the movie. I don’t like that Charlie keeps calling Patrick “Nothing” in his letters.
But it does showcase how young he is.

Everything is finally out on the table.

I like that they both know about each other’s family business and there’s no hard feelings in their twitter feud.
Curious how they’re online relationship will play out once their identities are revealed.

So Jack likes Pepper but didn’t know that she’s Bluebird, whom he also likes.

But now he’s just found out that she’s the one dissing his family’s business on Twitter. Which sucks. Because it’s so personal for him, and she just feels like she had to, to appease her mother. And there’s still so much left!
