"First we cooked our food, and then our food cooked us." Thinking about food and DNA and how some people have evolved to accept certain diets and others haven't. All bodies aren't evolved to eat Western diet, that's why we have health problems.

Children are sensitive to their parent's attitudes-If parents display disgust or scold their children, children may begin to associate negative feelings with certain bodily functions-Portraying the idea that the body is a gift- and that ALL parts of the body are good, and have necessary functions can help-develop a healthy love and respect for the body and build a positive sexual foundation.

Really enjoying this book.

Mixed feelings about this book. I like the biographical sketches but am slightly uninterested in the sports portions. Joe Rantz has had a hard life and it's eye opening to read about it, I also enjoy the character of George Pocock. The writing style is okay, not my favorite: it's a little too flowery.
