alright, let’s do this one last time… (finally got this back from the library!!)

Such pretty prose I want to read it aloud and hear myself say each sentence ✨

Been wanting to read this novel by the icon, Nora Ephron, for awhile now and I am thrilled to report that the audiobook is narrated by Meryl Streep and is so fucking good. Pretty sure I’ll be reading this one entirely with my ears!

I moved this up my TBR when I saw it was narrated by Julia Whelan and then I forgot and went to listen to it and got excited 😅

Barely two chapters in and a Crash Bandicoot reference 🤌🏼

Every time I go a little while without listening to anything narrated by Julia Whelan and then I do again, I’m like 🤯

I’m so tired and planned on getting up at a reasonable hour tomorrow so I know I need to stop before I get any deeper into this book, but I am already completely engrossed and it is physically paining me to put this book down. 😩

Decided to start getting ready for bed and had the most genius idea of what to listen to 😌 for the record, this is on 1x because it is ✨pure leisure✨

This is good so far but feels reeeally long at 15 hours for the audiobook! Finally starting to hit my stride now that I have the speed set at an unprecedented 1.7x and I have 9 hours to go

Took me a minute to get going but I can assure you I just yelled Oh, HELL no at one of these characters and I am very invested at this point.

Been wondering when that Ugly Love crossover would happen! ☺️

Needed something to read in the backseat on a dark car ride and my current read is in paperback form and my next read is on my kindle but not my phone so I started this, my next next read, on libby and now I already can’t wait to come back to it.

I just have to say finding some hot guy’s dog who you want to keep is such a good meet cute because I will be thrilled with an HEA where they both end up with the dog.

The struggle of wanting to read my pretty paperback for at least part of this but also not wanting to miss out on any of Julia narrating and doing all these voices now that this book has me learning how much goes into narration 😅

When you’re in your first big book hangover in ages (post-Book Lovers naturally) and you’re looking at what’s due back soon on Libby and see this book that’s been on your TBR for ages and has an audiobook under five hours… AND THEN YOU HIT PLAY AND FIND OUT IT’S READ BY THE QUEEN, JULIA WHELAN. 😍😍

Took me a minute to get going, but now it’s like I’m really into this but also not a lot going on?

Also, trying to listen to it at work and I do feel like it requires more attention than other books and I keep having to rewind bits of the audiobook.

Had my second CoHo book all picked out to read next month, put together a list and thought it would be fun to emotionally devastate myself throughout the month of February for Valentine's. So when I saw this was out and free on kindle unlimited, I planned on waiting until it was out longer and I could get the audiobook on libby, but I cracked within the first 48 hours.

I’ve had this on my list for awhile now since I love Alyssa Cole and the narrators include Mindy Kaling (!!!) and Regina Hall. It’s included with Audible and I’m definitely not letting my subscription go another month ✨because 2022, being fiscally responsible, etc✨ so I figured I’d better read it now.

Reading this novella/short story collection for one of the groups I’m in on here. Was 4 stories behind and wanted to get caught up before I start my next book so I could join in the discussion without any spoilers. Well I burned through all 4 in less than 24 hours so I’d say it’s pretty good so far!

Been wanting to reread this one for the last couple years. I remember really enjoying it and it having New Years, personal growth type vibes so here we are. Perfect second book of the year.

I’ve got at least 4 books in progress I could probably wrap up in a couple hours and get myself closer to the reading goal I’ve completely missed this year, but here I am falling headfirst into this one instead.
