Very enjoyable - a grand mix of sci-fi, gothic horror, speculative fiction. An engaging collection of what the Wild West coulda-shoulda-mighta been like in the darker weirder corners of the Pecos. It was re-a-a-a-lly tough to chose my favorites. Listed in order of occurrence in the book: Pixie Season by McGuire, Cards and Steel Hearts by Jeffs, Bloodsilver by Decker, Rainmaker by McGraw.
