So far really boring.

It’s not bad but there are too many POVs and no plot.

This is possibly the most boring book I’ve ever read.

So boring.

1. It wasn’t that hard to get into Stanford in 1968
2. I hate when girls have no friends and are just aloof and then have a random love interest. Why do so many female characters in books have no friends?
3. Baker is a stupid name and she’s a stupid girl. Such a flat character.
4. Apparently the author lives in the Bay Area but this book reads like someone who has never been to SF but loves the idea of it.

I mean…condoms exist??

So far this reads like bad YA… not getting the rave reviews…

Why would anyone want to read a book about a teacher manipulating children?? This is fucked up and not fun to read.

Umm this book sucks so far?? I used to enjoy Oprah’s picks but maybe I was just young and had bad tasty? This reads like middling YA fiction.
