I am reading Cryer's Cross. It is about a girl who lives in the town of Cryer"s Cross. There has been a girl who went missing and that shakes up the town. Cryer's Cross is a small town where everyone knows who you are, and where crime is not heard of.

Irene lives in the upper west side of New York in a penthouse. Her dad lost her job however and it forces them to sell their house and some of their belongings. They have to move in with her grandpa who lives on a farm. She is really homesick on the farm and misses all of her friends, until she meets a family that she really connects with.
