I can’t anymore.

I’m giving this until maybe 1/3 of the way through to get my attention before I DNF. So far, nothing is happening

I need something fun and cozy and autumnal

DNFing a 185 page book seems silly but JFC, what is this?? The first chapter was fantastic. Totally drew me in. Unreliable narrator at its finest. Then it just devolved into a textbook about pathological lying and I can’t begin to tell you how bored I was. This had so much potential and it ended up being a complete waste of my time

I have a complaint: when in the history of ever has “Heath” been a nickname for “Heather”? Are they saying it like “Heeth” or like “Heth”? Either way, I am annoyed.

Putting this on pause… may DNF, may pick it up later… who knows?

This book is NOT what it is described as even a little bit. If this was accurately described, I would not have voted for this in book club

I could have sworn I read this a couple years ago, but I guess not. With the third one coming out this year, time to refresh my memories of the world of Victor Vale and Eli Ever!
