I’m only a couple of chapters into the first season and wow… this is really good commentary on society. I wasn’t expecting something so dark

Finished chapter 6- lowkey confused about what’s going on. We’ve had new characters introduced but I’m excited to see what happens next with Dante !!

I’d rate this a 3/5 so far. Lacking plot in my opinion and I’m almost halfway through !!

Onto part three!
[I’m harshly critical] Where are the other female characters? And why is it always a “coming of age” woman as the MFC? And why is it always depicted that said MFC is obsessed with balls and gowns and the finer things in life? Give this character substance please 😭 I was starting to put the pieces together about the little excerpts in the beginning of each chapter. I like where this is going

Really liking this so far !! It reminds me of Six of crows from the grishaverse, and the poppy wars (just much MUCH less graphic)

this is so frustrating why would the author just straight up make it that the two Avonleyan are family to the two people we JUST MET IN AVONLEYA. There’s so much unused potential 😭

(also why did I just realize it’s AVON-LE-A and now AVO-LO-NIA? 😂😭)
