I don’t usually read books in this genre but I’m really enjoying this so far !! Was thinking that this would be really good adapted as a tv show and didn’t realize that it’s already been done !! I’ll be sure to watch it after reading :))

This man is really pissing me off. I had an inkling from the beginning that they’ve got some things to work through 😭💀

THIS SHOULD BE BOOK 2 !! Book 1 & 2 were way too slow and could’ve been combined, with this one being book 2. The plot in this one is just much better written and I’m actually invested in the story in a way that I wasn’t with the first two !!

End of Chapter 25- UM EXCUSE ME WHAT WAS THAT

This book is not meeting my expectations unfortunately :(( However, the coronation was well done and I just wish the beginning of this book was as well-written. I was expecting more red queen in terms of twists but there’s more to go soo there’s still hope !!

Enemies to lovers?? He’s looking EXTREMELY evil… can’t wait to find out how he becomes a fan favorite 😂

I’m only a couple of chapters into the first season and wow… this is really good commentary on society. I wasn’t expecting something so dark

Finished chapter 6- lowkey confused about what’s going on. We’ve had new characters introduced but I’m excited to see what happens next with Dante !!

I’d rate this a 3/5 so far. Lacking plot in my opinion and I’m almost halfway through !!

Onto part three!
[I’m harshly critical] Where are the other female characters? And why is it always a “coming of age” woman as the MFC? And why is it always depicted that said MFC is obsessed with balls and gowns and the finer things in life? Give this character substance please 😭 I was starting to put the pieces together about the little excerpts in the beginning of each chapter. I like where this is going

That last line was so cute 🥹 I’m so scared that we’re going to lose Kelsier… I really like him

Really liking this so far !! It reminds me of Six of crows from the grishaverse, and the poppy wars (just much MUCH less graphic)

this is so frustrating why would the author just straight up make it that the two Avonleyan are family to the two people we JUST MET IN AVONLEYA. There’s so much unused potential 😭

(also why did I just realize it’s AVON-LE-A and now AVO-LO-NIA? 😂😭)
