Okay, four chapters in and I already love this.
*groans* Now I have to buy the entire series. (Good thing my paycheck came in today! 😊)

Got to admit, it’s a little hard to like Stevie in this one.

Rereading for Halloween. Also, I had no idea there was a sequel! (Obviously,, I have to have it now.)

Is it bad that in order to keep The Nine in order, I need to imagine them as the Studio C original cast? (I'll put the who's-who in my review.)

OK, first time in my life that I’m ever reading a sex scene and a fight scene happening AT THE SAME TIME!!! (And yes, it’s the same guy having sex and fighting at the same time.)😲

Re-reading this because "The Velvet Knife" is out and I'm expecting it delivered soon. It's been a while that I'm sure that I've forgotten some of the twists, so let's re-read everything! <3

I really should have started this almost a month ago when it came out, but I was busy.

Okay, so far, this is WAY more tolerable for me than Lord of Shadows. Although the characters are all still dealing with their grief at the start, at least I can understand where they're coming from. I'll admit, the whole bullshit "fake relationship" plot being out of the way, it makes me understand Emma a bit more, and even Julian--although, he is being drastic, of course.
