this was really sweet. it was a lil slow, but i liked how introspective Marigold was.

this book needs an edit, there are a lot of weird errors and it’s just throwing me off. i’m not really enjoying reading it.

this is so beautiful so far. i’m reading it aloud to my mom, and she’s loving it too so far.

yahaira’s part about being Dominican but not knowing the DR is how i want to feel about being Salvadoran. but i don’t even have that connection to feeling Salvadoran. i don’t even know if that’s how i want to say but i just felt that section so much.

that scene is so short but v intense, holy crap

That got low level intense so fast. My heart rate went up starting around page 15.

I really enjoyed the writing of this one. I liked the characters and the events, all the individual parts of this story, but for some reason I just couldn’t really get into it.

That one was v weird. I liked it, mostly. One part of Kevin and his life hit me like a basketball to the face. The story surprised me, I saw it coming, but it happened way different than I thought it would.

The End of Love by Nina LaCour

I really like this. It’s so simple and sweet. I loved that it just felt like a peek into Flora’s life. I also feel like if it was a full length novel it’d be really soft and nice and gay.

Head, Scales, Tongue, Tail by Leigh Bardugo

**** wow, that ending. The whole last part especially. Just wow. I loved that.

I haven’t quite gotten past that point for myself yet.
