I was initially annoyed when I realized that this was going to be through Frosty and Camilla's POV, but unlike some other series that have pulled this shit I didn't mind after the first couple chapters. I'm just as engrossed as I was with the first 3 books.

I wonder in intervals: How did I get myself into this? Why can't I stop reading? What the hell this book is actually about? Is this one of those incredibly frustrating books that is really about nothing specific the entire time, until the very end when it ties everything together? Why, God, why am I reading it? Please kill me.

This book is completely different than I thought it would be and it's not really what I was looking for when I started it. That said, I'm enjoying the writing style, even if I think about quitting it every time I pick it up. Even though the two books are nothing alike, my feelings are exactly the same as when I read "Winter's Tale."

I guess we're expected to excuse Reagan's bad behavior b/c of her assault. She wasn't even actually raped, so there's that to be thankful for...oh, and maybe she should be thrilled that her family is still intact. Nah, she's just gonna be a nasty bitch to them too.

This is going to be WAY too similar to J.R. Ward's BDB for most people who have read that series. It's essentially a rip-off, but it's decently written and there are a few interestingly unique aspects to it. Mostly, it's just a fun read and a way to kill time until the next BDB comes out. Just pretend the Black Diamond crew are distant cousins of the BDB, or that this is fan fiction.

This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed seeing things from Christian's POV...just wished it was the whole story.

Meh...so far, not impressed w/ the author's writing ability or choice of descriptors. Still reading though.

So far this book is interesting, but it seems so serious and I haven't been in the mood for months. I'll come back to it later.

I only have 1/3 of this book left, but I think I have an idea of something unpleasant that might be on the horizon...and if it happens I'll be so upset that I spent all this time on the series. I've been putting it off...maybe I'll finish this weekend.

Currently reading some Harry Potter fan fic...out of desperation. Read J.K.'s latest last week and enjoyed it, but now I'm just frustrated by this feeling of withholding. Why write that kind of shit when you have the ability to make magic??? Not truly enjoying the fan fic, but every now and again, there's a tiny glimpse of what might have been. Depressed.

I'm thrilled to be starting this!!! I've only just started, but I wish it was longer...

...she's an older person trying to be "current" and "relevant." Bitch just said Qhuinn was checking his Hotmail account...wtf??? Almost as obnoxious as when Justin Cronin referred to Avril Lavigne as "April" in The Passage. This shit is so easy to Google.

Enjoying this so far, as expected...but I have to mention this one thing. I HATE when books are heavy on the pop culture references and FAIL. You can't be successfully trendy unless you're spot on. Check your facts...do the research, otherwise you come off as a fraud. I imagine that J.R. Ward is probably a pretty cool person in real life, but sometimes she tries too hard and that's likely because (cont.)
