Danica... makes a lot of dumb decisions. Has some really stupid ideas. I'm finding it hard to root for her as the heroine, she doesn't really deserve it. Maybe the book is about her becoming a better person, because right now she is not.

I think I made a mistake. I picked this up thinking it was a supernatural thriller/romance. However, it appears to be none of those, rather a story of grief and overcoming it. I will still give it a try tho
