An interesting concept, but I don't know too much about the novel, so I am interested to read further into it.

I find the book especially interesting because of the historical insight and the knowledge it gives you on WWII. Rather than telling the story as a good guy vs bad guy fight in which good prevails, the story is set up to tell the story of someone's life. The war just happened to be a part of it. That is what really sets unbroken aside from your typical war novel.

I haven't been able to read too far into the book, but I have high expectations for it due to friends' reviews. So far, the characterization of the main character is interesting, especially with all of his interesting childhood stories.

Churchill knew being humble was good, which lead him far in life. More people should know that skill today.

Churchill was a brilliant, outspoken when, but was still willing to realize he didn't know everything. He was not stubborn in his beliefs and was always open to new ideas. Such a skill would be very useful in modern day.

I love this book as it is historical fiction, something that interests me. However, I would like to get more in depth knowledge from the Congolese perspective about the corporate greed going on.

Piscine is having so many internal conflicts, but rather than tearing him apart, these conflicts make him stronger. The remarkable writing makes each scene heartfelt and so far I really enjoy this book.

Holden is an interesting character and a rather polarizing one. Personally, I like his character and find his honesty somewhat refreshing and hysterical at times.

The concept of how a government can control its people is astounding. Not through force can a government fully control their people. The government can only truly control people through their brain. The worst control isn't physical, it is mental.

I began to read this book because I have heard about it from a friend. I had high expectations, and this book has not disappointed. It is the original dystopian novel, and in many ways far better than current dystopian novels.

The secret agent part of this book interests me because it adds some suspense. The book breaks from the plot with pictures to look at every once in a while which is nice. So far, so good.

I'm interested by the story lines, but at the same time , I am slightly confused. I am not sure when the dream is going on or whether it is reality. That being said, I am enjoying the plot twists in the book.

I find the fact that there are two narratives really interesting. However, this two narrative are by the same person, Paul Berlin. One of the narratives takes place in the real world while the other narrative takes place in his dreams. These narratives really add to the book.

I have just started the book, and so far I feel like the concept would make for a great story. A man trying to walk from Vietnam to Paris seems like it would be fun to read about it. So far, I'm liking the book.
