Danny Collier is on page 213 of 320 of Rethinking Mary in the New Testament: What the Bible Tells Us about the Mother of the Messiah
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know why we as Catholics refer to The Blessed Virgin Mary as, for example, The Ark of the Covenant, The New Eve and Queen of Heaven.

Danny Collier is on page 184 of 1056 of Witness to Hope: The Biography of Pope John Paul II
By page 184, St. John Paul II was Karol Jòzef Wojtła, Archbishop of Krakòw. The man who would become Pope when I was coming of age comes through George Weigel’s well-done work as a man of holiness and piety, exceptional understanding and education. I want to witness to Hope as well. My long journey into the Catholic Church can be followed at:

Danny Collier is on page 83 of 249 of The Power of Silence: Against the Dictatorship of Noise
The silence of listening is a form of attention, a gift of self to the other, and a mark of moral generosity. It should manifest an awareness of our humility so as to agree to receive from another person a precious gift that God is giving us. For the other person is always a treasure and a precious gift that God offers to help us grow in humility, humanity, and nobility. p. 81.

Danny Collier is on page 82 of 284 of The Green Stick (Chronicles of Wasted Time, Vol. I)
Because of our physical hunger we know there is bread; because of our spiritual hunger we know there is Christ. ~ M.M.

He reminds me of C.S. Lewis who, in so many words, said that just as the world is the kind of place where hunger is addressed by bread, so we find a longing in our souls that can only be addressed by God. Ultimately by God in Christ.
