And I skipped book three to read this one and maybe I should’ve skipped this one too

I read normal books too ☝️🤓

and she lies thru her TEETH…..

This is in two pieces and I’m mad about that. But! A student recommended this updated version vs the OG audio so I’m giving it a second try

And I *was* sleeping on hoopla bc I didn’t know it was immediate access versus Libby’s waitlist methods

Mind u…. Lawd have mercy on

Sitting at the drawbridge first day of new job knocked out twenty minutes of this

The guy reading the book should be getting overtime w how much he’s putting into this

The southern accent in the audiobook was making me laugh really bad, not bc it is bad but simply for the book subject matter

Feels bad to describe this book as yummy but this book is yummy

As someone who was on tumblr, the research the author did to make characters convincingly use tumblr is scaring me

Actually thrilling, well written, etc etc. I love the dual narrative so far

And maybe having the audiobook on 1.4x speed is hurting my understanding of the plot *ever* so slightly

Bc i do enjoy it and it makes me feel like I’m in California watching little league games and going to church

Slouching toward bronzeville one page at a time

Maybe I bit off more than I can chew

A little winding

Racing to finish the audiobook seeing as the loan expires in 36 hours… kinda unsure where this book is going tbh

bought at a bookstore new and remembered why we don’t buy books at a bookstore new (hashtag I love you library)

Yummy

The pages are now beginning to rip in half when I turn them

The book continues to actively fall apart while I read it
