My second time reading this one. It is by far my favorite book on the Manson case.

I just purchased MR. MERCEDES by STEPHEN KING. I did this because one of my facebook friends when ape crazy over FINDERS KEEPERS in one of his posts. I haven't read King in a bit, although I did read THE LONG WALK again recently (4th time), and because I missed him, the King of The Dark Tower series and the books written by Bachman, as much as a delicious, forbidden serving of rich dark chocolate.

So far, and I'm only 20% in, there is a lot of very interesting information about Charles Manson and the way his personal world progressed as well as the times he grew up in. There are so many things I did not know about this very sick man.

I am LOVING this book! It's unique, sensual, fun, mysterious, humorous, and shocking. I have already bought book 2, and I'm thrilled there is a book 3.

The first chapter captured me from page one. The second chapter set the hook firmly. It's all here: dimensional characters with one surprise after another, vivid visuals, and shocking situations balanced with delightful humor. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the author hits me with a sex scene that has me begging for more. This is one of those rare books that keeps whispering in your ear all day.
