I'm finding it a hard slog. Poser has chosen to write chapters on different themes rather than a straight narrative. Therefore, although I know a lot about his life, I don't know where things occur in relation to each other. There is a chronology, but it doesn't help much. Paula Byrne who wrote about LM only peripherally in Belle (and whetted my interest to learn more), has given more interesting facts and insights.
