If I had never seen the show, I would be extremely confused. The show made a lot of changes to the characters. June in the show is a bad a$$ but in the book she is timid and a rule follower. Serena Joy and Fred in the show are young but in the book they use canes and have gray hair. Interested to see how they develop in the book compared to the show.

Need something lighter after reading Nobody's Girl, an autobiography of a woman who was sex trafficked by Epstein. Hope this does the trick :)

This book is so heavy that I am having a hard time getting through it. I have watched a documentary with Jenna in it but this is an entirely new level of detail. So heartbreaking to see how so many people failed to protect her as a child.

I am listening to this on audiobook and it is taking me forever to get through bc I only listen on my way to and from work. It is really good!! Demon is one of my favorite characters from any of the books I have read so far. Rooting for him so hard!

I think it is pretty good but need to see how the ending plays out... Feel like a lot of it could be cut and would still get the story across.

This book is really good!! Just when I was starting to get bored, he switched to his storyline. This book has my palms sweaty. I am thankful the Lord did not give me the urge to solo climb glaciers in Alaska.
