Yeah I hate Spencer's family. She's not perfect at all, but her parents (and sister) just siding against her, calling her despicable, saying they'd kick her out of the house if she were an adult when WREN was the actual adult? Nope.

Also me: absolutely cannot handle secrets. Just tell me what happened now instead of foreshadowing it and alluding to it every other page.

I was super into this but then we moved on to "letters from miss mina Murray" and it took all but 2 seconds for my interest to evaporate in the light of insipid 19th century female musings

I'm about 25% into the book and all we've had so far is nothing but disgusting romance between Audrey and Thomas. The murderers? The notes? Not important, all the plot is surrounding their wedding. Honestly, instead of writing a fourth book she could've just published a novella if all she was gonna write is fanservice
