Starting to suck.

Falling a little flat. I love dogs but enough is enough.

So far, not feeling it.

I don't know if I can handle the corniness.

This book is getting less sexy by the minute.

The story sounded promising but the prose is not. And he "tinkled" her. It was suppose to be tickled, but tinkled was used twice. Am I missing something here? Tinkled sounded like he peed.

Holy reading slump Batman.

I've read 2% of the book and I'm already sucked back in and want to neglect daily life.

Superb so far. The writing is brilliant. I don't know if I've ever said that about a book before. Ms. Milan draws you in and makes you feel like you are in the middle of it.

As much as this book is annoying me at times, I can't seem to put it down. And by annoying I mean the outfit, hair, and make-up descriptions. I am enjoying the story even though fantasy is usually not my thing :)

"What are you, a vampire? Could we maybe open some drapes? Turn on a light or two?"

"Let me see if I've got this right," he said. "First you ream me for having the audacity to bid on you in the first place, then you give me hell for the kind of women I date, and now you're insisting I take you out despite that? Just how crazy have you gotten in the past twelve years?"

Her gaze narrowed slightly and he could all but see her figuring out which of his buttons to push. "Just crazy enough."

Ugh...just read the results for the Goodreads awards. Maybe next year will be better.

Hilarious. Undertones of "Of Mice and Men".

Not feeling this. Cole is a whiny, self-absorbed man-child. No chemistry between him and Savannah.

I don't think I've stopped laughing since I started this book.
