I started to read the book because of the positive reviews, sadly I had to disagree.
1) The book is very american (OK, it's my personal problem)
2) Rick seemed to behave towards his wife like it was his Mother
3) Even though the situation was extremely dangerous the guys behaved like it was a game
Yet, the book is good if one needs to relax.

This book has a very high rating but I give in in the middle of the Christmas theatre. I have read a few good books by Irving but this is sooo boring
