This book has reached a very fucked up point but I must push through. I’m almost done. I haven’t decided whether I’d recommend it or not.

This book is so compelling to me I can barely do anything listen to this on my audiobook. It’s so gripping! I don’t want to give anything away except holy shit I can’t believe she’s telling Agnes! Read it and get to chapter 26 and gape with me if you will 😳😮🫣

I think this author excessively uses the N word with the hard R a little much but I saw the movie and I know it’s a good story. I’m pushing on.

Okay because I’m a person that likes to see things through no matter how bad I started listening again and it turns out the bad thing that made me stop reading to begin with did not fully happen. Phew! Moving along…I might finish this yet!

Friends. I have listened to some fucked up repugnant shit. I’m not sure I can go any further. I may pause this listen in favor of something lighter.

I find the female protagonist a little off putting but I’m still committed to seeing this book through so far.

This is a bean flicker book. I should have known it was but it is what it is. We’ll see if it gets any better.

Most excellent book so far. Each story making me wish they were individual books!
