Some chapters are interesting. Others fall flat

It’s slow going and I can tell my review won’t be great.

Struck by the beauty of the faith of a ten-year old child who believes God is real because she prayed for a friend who would understand her and then met the main character.

It was a sweet book that reminded me of simpler times. Any nature-lover would enjoy this book, or anyone looking for a story about virtuos and upright people. Elnora is a lovely character, the kind of woman I think we should all strive to be: kind, courageous, forgiving, intelligent, patient, loving, and more. The book makes me want to read the series.
