Philip Wandel is on page 25 of 777 of Killing Floor / Die Trying (Jack Reacher, #1-2)
I like how the author leaves out some details in the beginning. Like what they guys name is, why he is where he is, and why he is being arrested. I also like how your are in the guys thoughts. My favorite part in these pages in when he says "I haven't killed anyone. Not for a very long time, that is." I really like it because you aren't sure if he is a murderer or just a military veteran.

Attitude advises Je. To be like a gentleman, and hold his head hig, and not let Mrs. Dubose's taunts make him mad. "Whatever she says to you, it's your job not to let her make you mad" (133).

I have just started this book, but I can tell what the mood is from every soldiers point of view. I like how the book starts with the repetitive phrase saying what everyone physically and mentally carries with them. You really can get a feel for how heavy everything that they carry, and makes you feel like you are carrying it to. Each soldier carries around 30-40 pounds of equipment and food.

At this point in the book, Chris Kyle, and his team, have invaded, and taken over a Syrian oil plant. This part was very interesting because all of the vehicles were all stuck in the mud, yet, they were able to improvise quickly, and still complete the mission. I like his sense of humor when he adds that when the British troops arrive the next day he makes a joke about it. He also prolongs the story, making it lively

Philip Wandel is finished with Pirate Latitudes
After finishing this book, I have really enjoyed the level of detail that Micheal Chichton brought to the book. Somethimes it got a little gory, and was a little to explicit, but it still brought a good addition to the book. My favorite part was near the end with the lies and deception from his crew. It is interesting how money can change a person personality, which what I thought the end of the book was showing.
