Parents being this over reaching this early on make me worried this book is gonna be unbearable.

I'm at the point where I'm reading short stories to reach my goal.

I'm not sure wtf this is but I'm reading it.

This was exciting for a hot second and now it's gotten boring af.

Also is Pullman gonna insist on persuing that romantic relationship?

Why am I here again? I have not liked a single one of the books in this series but part of me wants to see it through.

Pretty much only reading this because it's almost exactly the same amount of hours as I have left of Bookbeat.

I have not been able to guess where this is going at all.

The pacing is pretty slow, it seems like it's picking up again, but it's been a bit of a slog the last 20%.

Ngl this is to use up Bookbeat hours and try in vain to chase my reading challenge.

Dragging a bit now but still enjoying it.

Okay we're reaching the romance portion of this book.

I'm a quarter of the way through this and I don't know how I feel about it but I'm still reading it.

Never a good sign when you have like 10 pages explaining the world before you start the prologue. If you can't get that through in the text that's a problem.
