I usually am able to go along with whatever these Stranger Things novels do but i get irritated every 5 minutes because this is SO SO far away from canon. Taking scenes from the show and switching out characters and locations of those scenes. I was so excited about this because I love Max and Eleven as a duo but this, so far, is the most disappointing one of the ones I've read.
