My favorite book that I read this year was "This Lullaby".I loved how much the characters grew and developed.Remy finally realized in the end that she can love someone. Also,Dexter was a very interesting character in this book,he was very dark and mysterious and kept on discovering more and more about him.I loved the theme which was development and got attached to the characters and felt what they were going through.

This book and the book, "This Lullaby" are very similar. One of the main components in similarities is character relationships. In both books the characters are very unsure about themselves and lean on their loved ones for support. They also put up fake fasodes so that people think they are perfect. Also, they used their boyfriends as an escape from their real world. They forget about everything when they are with them

If I had to interview any character in the book it would be Macy Queen. I would ask her why she always tries to be so perfect. She always has to have perfect hair, perfect clothes, and perfect shoes. She would probably respond and say that her family expects her to be perfect so she has to live up to their expectations. Also, she has grown up that way so it would be very hard to change that lifestyle.

Macy Queen is going for nothing less than perfection. Everything about her is so neat and organized. Macy is dating Jason Talbot, who is the perfect guy, and spends all her time studying, helping her mom at work, or volunteering with Jason. Jason then goes away for the summer, he emails her that he thinks they should take a break from their relationship. Macy is heartbroken and starts to lead a double life.

I believe that the author's message in this book is coming of age. The characters in the book are getting to the state in their life where they have to make their own decisions which could effect them in their future. When Remy was trying to decide if she wanted to break up with her boyfriend or not it was a very hard time for her. But, she learned from her experiences and became a better person out of it.

The book that I am reading about is a girl who does not realize yet that she really is in love and doesn't really want to accept it. I choose this book because I really like the author because she realates her books and themes on scenarios that can actually happen to people my age. Reading this book shows that I have become a stronger reader because it has more challenging words and the context is more mature.

If I was a character in this book I would want to be Remy. She always plays hard to get with guys, which intrigues them. Also, she claims that she never wants to be in love and that she never wants to get married but she is in love with Dexter she just doesn't know it yet.She is a very complicated character but I think it would be very fun to play her role, because in real life I am definitely not as complicated as she is

It was 4th of July and Remy's family for the first time was going to do a traditional barbeque but it didn't end up very traditional. Remy's brother Paul burned all of the hot dogs and hamburgers due to him trying to flirt with his girlfriend. Remy's mom was panicked but ofcourse Remy had a back up plan which was she bought a few Rotisserie Chickens and everyone loved it!Overall, everyone had an amazing 4th of July!

Dexter was performing at a club with his band and Remy was there to support him and she brought some of her friends. Remy finally realized that she really likes Dexter because she was jealous of the fangirls. This was a huge moment for her because she has never truly liked someone like this. She was used to being friends with guys and then breaking up with them because she didn't want to get tied down to one guy.

Dexter is a very interesting character in this book, he is very dark and mysterious. His identity is that he is really all alone, no family to support him,but is very religious and leans on God for help. Also, he always wears dark colored clothing and never really smiles. If something goes well for him which usually doesn't happen,he doesn't celebrate he just carries on with his regular routine,he does not like change.

Remy has been helping her mother set up her wedding for months now and it is finally here! This is her mother's fourth wedding and Remy hopes it is her last step-father because she actually likes him. The wedding was a huge sucess and luckily she had her three best friends there, Lissa, Chloe and Jess. The only bad part was that Dexter was there who is a creepy guy that follows Remy around wherever she goes.

The purpose of this book is to make sure that teenagers at school should know that they are never alone, and that someone is always there for them. Annabel thought she was alone but then Owen came along and they are perfect for each other. The audience is ages 12-17 girls. This is when there is changes in life and different friend groups. The author probably went through being alone and then finally finding someone.

I can't relate to the main character, Annabel because she is a very shy person, which is the opposite of me. She also doesn't surround herself with a lot of friends, only Owen. I like to surround myself with a bunch of friends. Also, she is usually very depressed, I like to think that I am a pretty happy person and I have a pretty positive outlook on life.

Owen left his headphones at Annabel's house so when Annabel went to return them at his house, there was so much commotion going on. Mallory was with a bunch of her friends wearing full on makeup with dresses and high heels. It was a mad-house! Owen was so embarrassed but Annabel was such a good sport and she played along with them. She was their manager and Owen was their photographer. In the end, they had fun!

I would interview Owen. I would ask him what it is like to just sit alone at lunch every single day. Would he rather have people surrounding him, or does he just like to be by himself? He would most likely say that he likes to be by himself because he just loves listening to his music on his ipod instead of talking.Deep down do you love you sister Mallory? He might say that he actually loves her just does not show it.

The story would be very different if Kiersten was the narrator rather than Annabel. Annabel just tells it like it is but Kiersten is very dramatic. If she was the narrator she would only tell her side of the story. When Whitney had to get rushed to the hospital Annabel just described what happened and didn't give emotion. Kiersten would have described that Whitney was on her death bed when really she was dehydrated.

There were some amazing parts of this book like when Liza is opening up her birthday presents and gets a gift card to the Bubbles Spa and she could bring a few of her friends. She was so excited which made me excited because I am connected to her character. Another great part is after the horrible party that Liza's nana gave her, her friends threw a suprise party that was everything Liza wanted.

I would love to be Katie in this story. She is the older sister to Lillian and I would love to have Lillian as a sister because she is so sweet and caring. Also, everything Katie does is perfection. She is the star of the track team, gets amazing grades, and everyone at school is obsssed with her. Also, she has such an incredible poise about her, and she does everything so effortlessly.

Liza went back to see her dad in LA,and faced her Nana Silver, who now is throwing her a huge thirteenth birthday party. Now the conflict is that Liza doesn't want a big party, she hates when a lot of attention is on her.The only reason that Liza is going through with this which is a rising action is she wants to try to get her mother and father back together who previously got divorced. This will be a hard challenge.

I just finished this book and it was one of the best endings that I have ever read.I loved it so much because everything wrapped up in the end and everything made sense. It was like a huge sundae with a cherry on the top!I would give this book a 10 out of 10 because it is so creative and really makes my imagination run wild.I would recommend this book to a teenager who has a big imagination because it makes you think.

If I was the author of this book I would change some parts of the first couple of chapters and add more character descriptions. This is because when you get more information about the characters you tend to connect with them more and have an emotional attachment to them. Also,if there is an evil character, then when adding more description you hate them more and cheer on for the good guy, which makes you more involved.

There was a lot of great exposition in the start of this book. Amanda and her best friend Leo stopped speaking to each other for a year due to Angelina D'Angelo's curse. Also, David is about to have his grand bat mitzfah, but is very sad that his dad can't make it because he left David and his family. Rory and Tara are also very helpful in setting up the big party and alaso the movie premiere that they were all in.

Right after the disater happened with Lillian, Frankie, and Liza's sour dough rolls, Lillian ran over to Frankie's house so quick and they came up with a solution which was to make icecream and waffle cones instead for their project.Lillian was there for Frankie when she needed her most. Liza who is always the one that is there for Frankie didn't show up for her. Frankie realized that Lillian was an amazing friend.

The author's purpose in writing this book is that she wanted it to really relate to teenage girls and the struggles that they have. She wanted to entertain her audience but at the same time inform her audience of struggles with friends, family and life in gerneral. She is trying to send the message that you should be open to friends and overall be really nice to people and don't make them feel bad.

I can relate to the main character of the book which is Frankie, because she is really upset that her best friend is hanging out with this other girl named Lillian. Once I felt the same way about a friend that was ditching me for somebody else. So, I know what Frankie is going through. Frankie is so relatable because, she is just like a regular teenage girl. She goes through many problems that people my age go through.

I choose to read this book because I really liked the cover first of all, it was really bright and colorful and I usually gravitate to bright colored books. I also liked the title too! This book has lived up to my expectations because I like how I already know a lot about the characters. Also, there has already been a lot of action so it is definitely not a boring book.

Tara finally after a lot of trouble finds all of the items on the list! She then gets hit with the news that she had gotten the wrong list. So, now she has to put on a show of Fiddler on the Roof with the items that she found that happened to be from that play. Some character development of Tara is that now she is way more social. She now talks to a lot more people especially ones her age, which is great for her!

Tara is starting to find some of the random objects that she has to find. She has found a duck cane, a heart basket, a shawl, pearls, a wooden key, and a violin.A significant quote in the book was,"I've been feeling guilty all day, there is something I didn't tell you."This was important because throughout the whole book Tara has not been telling the whole side of her story, but now she is actually finishing it up.
