such an interesting idea being written in such a boring way....

really enjoying this so far! the politics are a little boring #tome but i really like the ship and i find their growth really natural and their connection is quite cute

definitely feels like it’s trying a little too hard sometimes and it’s a little slow but i’m intrigued still

this was so excellent i am going to be thinking about rocky and grace for years

hmm i really love the concept, worldbuilding, and general tone of this one but the dialogue is SOOOO YA in a way that feels out of place and also kinda annoys me lol

hm. i've been intrigued by this but not really feeling the romance, then the plot twist happened and im feeling it even less lol

genuinely one of the best books I’ve ever resd btw, and i’m not even done

this story being like 5 of my most loved tropes/settings/plot elements all in one ..... anyways i love it so far

not as interesting as i’d like it to be given the premise rocks

two major thoughts so far: crazy how a beat by beat reflection on the drama in the higher ups at disney can be so freaking interesting because it was the messiest thing ever. and two, crazy how not a single person in this story other than the creative people are sympathetic

this book is literally so good i've been listening to it for hours straight without stopping cuz im hooked

i’m gonna be dropping this book bc i’m truly so bored. the characters feel flat, the story is both too specific and complicated with absolutely nothing going on, and in general it’s not working for me

this is just sooo well written its very straightforward but descriptive and emotional through that and the whole world is extremely captivating; manages to make the day to day drudgery of ruling this fictional empire feel so important and tenuous as it is to maia - super engaging i’m just really hooked
