I'm really, really loving this book.

Having Kendrick herself as the narrator makes this such an interesting read. Her sarcastic wit comes through and things that might appear a little snotty on the page come off as self-deprecating and funny instead.

Mixed feelings about this one. It's a great introduction to some series, but there are others where I feel a bit lost because I don't have the background on the characters or previous story arcs. Still, it's definitely darker than I anticipated, but in the best possible way.

Am finding this quietly devastating - the father losing memories to the tumour??? Breaking my heart.

Much darker than I anticipated - the Molly Carpenter story kind of broke me.
