Did not finish. I couldn't do it. I think I must accept at this point that Maas is not my cup of tea.

I'm suspecting this is going to be a DNF...I'm having a hard time getting drawn in or hooked.

So far an easy, mildly compelling Beauty and the Beast retelling. I'm not sold on the book yet, but typically refuse to stop unless it's utterly terrible...

Equally likable protagonists. Very slow start. I'm vaguely interested to continue, but honestly feel no significant personal investment yet...
